Hello!
I’m Shantel Neo, 26 year old graduate of Contemporary Media Practice from University of Westminster and Creative Writing of TV and New Media from Singapore Polytechnic. Stories are told in all forms and ways - writing, screen, interactive, games, transmedia, dance, theatre and performance. Stories can be found anywhere and I work towards my versatility in storytelling in various platforms and media, on screen and on stage.
TV and film is where my roots are and have been involved professionally and independently on productions and projects and I will always go back to them and find new, exciting ways to tell stories.
Transmedia, games, interactive media and convergence of media platforms capture my interest and I aim to explore its boundaries and see how far we can go with immersive storytelling not just through one screen.
Musical Theatre and Dance are things I live and breathe, on stage or backstage, having been a part of me throughout life and I still hold the stage close and dear to my heart.
I still love exploring all forms and hopefully creating stories through these mediums that can inspire and affect others as much as they have affected me.
