Every morning Amelia wakes up in a room she cannot remember, in the mirror is an unfamiliar face that follows her every move, and where reality feels like a dream she struggles to keep her mind and body in time with each other. After living through a traumatic childhood and watching her parents slowly fall out of love, she experiences life in a dissociative state where time wastes away and nothing feels real. With the help of her father and best friend Sam, Amelia battles to connect with life again as she strives to start her dream career in musical theatre but will her overbearing mother win the fight again and convince her to change her mind?
